I hate myself! I hate myself! I truly hate myself!! How could I be so stupid?? Aaarrgghh!! I've blown my chances away!! Aaarrgh! I hate Spanish! (lho kok jadi Spanish??) Well, speaking of Spanish (SPAN112), I screwed up in my oral exam today. The exam (it's more of a test actually) consisted of two parts: reading and conversation. I excelled in the reading bits, but then when the lecturers asked me questions, I kinda froze cos the questions that they asked me were completely different to what I'd expected! I couldn't even speak fluently at all; it's like it was so hard to get the correct Spanish words out of my mouth! Moreover, I was supposed to have the exam at 3pm, but then at 2:50pm they already called my name! I hadn't got the chance to get myself together when they did, cos I just came out of the toilet beforehand! I was planning to do a bit of revision for 10 minutes before going to the oral exam room, but thanks to the early call I didn't even have the chance to do so!

Anyway, on Friday I have another oral exam, but this time it's for French (FREN123). Even though the French and Spanish courses that I'm doing are both at an elementary level (the one that you need to do before going to the 200-level courses), FREN123 is like 10 times harder than SPAN112!! In spite of that, I still love French a million times better than Spanish, he he

Oh by the way, on my way back home I saw Rosita (last year's NZ Idol winner) on the same bus as me!! At first when I saw her I thought "I think I've seen her before.. but who is she??" then I realised that it's Rosita!! I wonder what she's doing these days. NZ Idol's not a huge phenomenon at all here, unlike in Indonesia and America. There's no more news about Ben Lummis (NZ Idol's first season winner) after he released his 2nd single. Worse than that, I've never even seen or heard Rosita's single on TV and on the radio right after she won! So I reckon that you can't really become a recording artist if you just win NZ Idol. Now I'm thinking that NZ Idol's merely a sham. To put it more positively: a one-off popularity contest.
