There was a free vaccination session today in Rutherford House, but it's only for students under 20 (thank God I'm still 18, cos I asked Inx 'n Chiqa if they're gonna be come along with me for the vaccination, but then I remembered that they're both over 20 already, hix..) Oh yea, I forgot to say that it's a vaccination for Meningococcal B. I should've been vaccinated for Influenza a few weeks ago, but I was just too lazy to go..
Now my left arm feels weird.. it hurts a bit and feels kinda cold too. And strangely, sometimes my whole body turns hot or cold in a sudden. But I guess it's only the side effects.
I won't be able to relax this weekend, cos I got an Accounting Infosytems assignment to do. Next week on Monday I also have a Spanish written test and on Friday there will be a reading test. I should be fine. This semester I probably study Spanish the least, but the marks I get on it have been the best compared to my other papers.
Spanish is alright. It should've been fun and interesting, but sadly the lecturer's just too plain and boring (lucky the tutors are totally the opposite!). Anyway, I chose it as my elective paper on a random basis ^o^ Well, not entirely random.. I chose it just 'cos people say it's similar to French, and it's the 2nd most spoken language in the world, and I secretly wanted to learn Spanish anyway, and cos Yani sez it's as cool as French, and lastly cos some of Christina Aguilera's songs are in Spanish.
Unfortunately.. I miss French A LOT!! Especially that sexy French accent!! I miss hearing it!! I remember the last time I went to the French conversation session and there was this Swiss guy who talked to me in French and.. and.. he only talked in a normal way but.. his accent was just soooooo sexy!! It almost made me drool over him! *err, hello! wake up Dee!* Gosh, I even miss talking to myself in French with my fluent French accent and then recording it and listening to how sexy it actually is! *tuing*
Cos u see.. there's no uniqueness or sexiness in the way Spanish people talk, and the language isn't as appealing to me as the French language! La langue de l'amour (the language of love)! Oh, in case you don't know, it's also known as the language of the high-class socialites back in the Middle Ages too.
So then, why didn't I do a French paper instead of Spanish? Well, of course I would've done it if it weren't a full-year paper that clashes with my other papers! *sob*
Mon Dieu! I guess I've just blabbered my whole way talking about French.. (Oh Dee-Dee, next time look at the blog title! It's "Vaccination"! Not "Spanish vs. French"!) Well, in one of my last few postings, I talked a whole lot about Deloitte, and now... (--> you can continue this sentence yourself).
Time to stop (I'm hungry, gonna make some garlic bread, ummmm yum!) Thanks to all my devoted blog readers out there! ^-^
