Hmmm.. long time no write in this blog. And it's already Thursday now, damn! Just one more week 'til the Econ140 essay's due date, plus the Quan111 30% test, plus the Accy111 40% test next Friday. What's worse, I still don't have much ideas for the essay. It's hopefully not as hard as the FCOM essays (cos u need lotsa research in them).
Anyway, on Monday when Ing-Ing and I were about to post the Quan111 assignment, we met this Chinese-looking girl who was asking us how to do two of the questions. Then I guess she heard me and Ing-Ing talk in Indo, and she asked me "are you from Indonesia?" and I said yeah. Then she asked again "both of you?" and Ing-Ing said yeah. And I said "what about you?". To my surprise, she said "me too!!" and yup, she' a new Indo student who just came to NZ since the beginning of the semester (she was studying for 2.5 years in Toronto, Canada before). Her name's Mira, she's from Semarang (klo ngomong Indo jg pake logat Jawa), and is taking MOFI and QUAN as her majors.
Then on Tuesday, the three of us came early to uni to discuss our essay together. Well, it was alrite, but we only got a few solutions to the essay. Oh yeah, I got a letter from Vic's International Vice-Chancellor, saying congratulations to me for my academic results in the 1st semester. When I read it, I was like "whoaa"! I never thought that the Vic people would acknowledge students who got high grades!
Hmm.. Wednesday.. the longest day ever, and it's soooo boring!! (Especially during the Info101 tutorial, aaarrrgghh!! Too bad I have to go to it to get a mark along with the weekly summary + questions). Then, when I was about to go home, I waited for my mom for sooooo long (like about half an hour outside in the coldness 'n with strong wind blowin' off ur face!!) cos she said she's gonna pick me up at 4. But I waited 'n waited but she wasn't there. So I decided to buy some hot chips, and if she's still not there after that, I was thinking about walking to KBRI instead and go home with my dad. But luckily, after I bought the chips, my mom was there. Uuuurrgghh! If only she was on time! But it's not much of her fault anyway, cos my cellphone suddenly got out of battery, 'n she tried to call me several times to tell me that she'd be late. Oh wellllll.. nasib deh..
Oh well, I gotta go to my ACCY111 tutorial now. After that I'm planning to make the identical friendship bracelets (from Fancy World) for myself, Anna, Rohymas, and Vandana. I'm gonna give them as a present, so they don't have to pay me. Oh yea, I made one for Lily just 2 days before she flew to China.
