This morning I was so damn tired cos I stayed awake till like 1.30 am last nite. I didn't go to Newlands, cos I had to do my Info101 assignment.
When my parents got home from NL (my bro had basketball practice), we headed to town to get a birthday present for myself. We were looking for a formal pair of shoes. We went to a few shoe stores in Lambton Quay, but none of them suits me. And every time I like the model or something, they don't have the size for my feet. Cos I got small feet (size 5.5 or 6).
So from LQ, we went to Cuba Mall and entered the 1st shoe store there, which was Wild Pair. They were having an enormous sale, and when I saw this a pair of black shoes on the shelf I instantly knew that those are the ones I like 'n want. I grabbed it and tried it on (fortunately the one on the shelf was already my size: 5.5) First of all I thought the shoes felt too tight on my feet, but they didn't have size 6, so I tried them again and felt comfy with it (although I need to get used to walking with those high heels!! :p ) And with no hesitation after that, we bought the shoes!! Most incredibly, Wild Pair's a cool store but the shoes that I bought were only $69.95, which wasn't that expensive if you compare it to the other shoe prices in the LQ stores.
After that, we ate at McDonald's. And I asked my dad if I can get another present, which is a pair of boots (cos actually I wanted boots more than formal shoes, but my mom insisted that I should get formal shoes cuz I dont have one yet). When I said it, my dad looked sort of.. you know.. like you don't wanna get me another present, especially boots cos they're usually expensive too. But before I gave him a chance to say something, I told him that the boots in #1 Shoe Warehouse were all at low prices like $20, $30, or maybe $40. Then he hesitated for a while, but then he said yes. YAAAAYYY!! Happy!! Happy!! Happy!!!!!
Then, it was 4.30 pm when we got to #1 Shoe Warehouse. I thought that the store closes at 5.30 pm, but when we got there it was already closed!! It sez that it closes at 4 pm on Sunday, 6 pm in the weekdays, and 5 pm on Saturday. Boohoooo.. :'(
