.: Brief News :.

My God, I can't believe it's been almost a month since the last time I blogged! Tons of things have happened since my last post that I can't even remember them one by one. One thing for sure, mom went back to Indonesia on the 12th of January, boo hoo. What else.. well, I went on a few dates with ... (I'm not gonna mention their names!), attended Anna's birthday party, Nina's birthday dinner, got registered at a few recruitment agencies that specialise in Accounting and Finance.. Oh.. oh.. and there was one time when my car almost got towed in front of Ardya's apartment (I was just exiting the building and the tow-truck was already there, and the tow guy was just about to get my car attached to the truck, and I thought "OMG I was sooooooo close! Imagine if I'd spent another minute at Ardya's!" but then what worried me the most was to have my mom yell at me 'n get angry about it). Umm what else.. oh yeah did I mention that Touf (my neighbour's lovely cat) only has 3 legs now? I don't exactly know what happened to her, but it looks like one of her front legs got amputated, I felt really sad when I first saw her in that condition :( but thank goodness she's handling it really well. As a proof: she still loves to JUMP into my flat through the window. I don't know how in the world could she still jump that high. How amazing, how CUTE!! I love 3-legged cats! ^^

Many other things have happened as well... oh yeah my fixed-term job at Transit NZ has been great so far, AND they said that there is an opportunity for me to be offered a permanent position there, which I'm happy about.. but I'm moving on to something MUCH BIGGER, and I'll tell you about it tomorrow (if I can get back to my blogging addiction & if my internet's not a slow poke).

Situasi 1:

Tante2 KBRI: "Des, pacar kamu mana?"
Me: "Gk ada Tante "
Tante2 KBRI: "Ah gk mungkin! Yg mana sih orangnya??"
Me: "Gk ada kok, beneran Tante"
Tante2 KBRI: "Ooo pasti diem2 yaaa.. "
duuh gk percayaan banget sih ni tante!

Situasi 2:

Tante2 KBRI: "Dessy pacarnya siapa sih?"
Me: "Ummm.. "
Tante2 KBRI: "Hayoo gk usah malu2 sama Tante"
Me: "Dia lagi di-transfer ke London.."
Tante2 laen yg tadinya nguping: "Oh ya??? Siapa tuh Des??"
Me: "Hehe.. ada deehh!"
case closed & diriku langsung kabur dari pandangan mereka.

Anehnya tante2 jaman sekarang. Dikasih tau yg sebenernya malah gk percaya. Dikibulin malah percaya banget. Hilarious.

Moral of this story: give 'em all they wanna hear and both parties will be delighted.
