.: My 18th birthday!! :.

Yup!! It's my birthday today! And I'm 18 now! I can go drinking, clubbing, bla bla bla. Hehee, sure I'd like to go clubbing some time (but I don't think my parents will allow me), but I'm not looking 4ward to drinking.

Oh yeah, the 1st person (other than my brotha) to say happy birthday to me at MIDNIGHT was Yani. She had the PERFECT timing! She called me at exactly 12 am!! Then after that other people sent me text messages to wish me a very happy birthday (I'll write the list when I hav my cellphone with me, it's in my room now, don't feel like going downstairs just to get it). Oh yeah, Ikhwan called me from Indo. Gosh, what an effort! And, and, Wina sent me a real bday card by post! And it arrived at the night before my bday!! Mantep banget! Kok bisa pas sih nyampenya???

Anyway, I knew that you-know-who's not gonna text me at midnight, but I was still hoping that he would do that. Cos he actually did it to my friend, da hyper gurl. Then, I waited until I fell asleep at about 1.30 am, but still, no "happy birthday" message from him. And I actually got his text in the afternoon. From the words in the message, I don't think that he really intended to say happy bday to me. Becoz, when I read the texts from my other friends, I smiled 'n got happy just by reading them, cos they really put their intention in the words. On the other hand, you-know-who's words are.. somewhat... dull 'n.. I dunno. When I read it, I was like.. "that's it???" Oh gosh, how disappointing! But I don't care, I don't really like him anymore. I mean, I still like him as a friend, or a big brother, or a bodyguard, or a guardian devil, or anything, hehehee, but not more than that.

Oh yeah.. I had fun on my bday. In the morning I went to KBRI for the Indo national children's day. Yani 'n Ayu gave me these really stunning gifts!! Yani gave me this really adorable watch from NY, n there's this cool card that lots of people filled in with their messages 4 me on my bday. Ayu gave me a really nice white bag that totally fits my style! And she also made a really creative birthday card. Anyway, at 1 pm the girls 'n I went to town. Then at 3.30ish we went back to KBRI for the practices n stuff. Yessy 'n Muti gave me a sort-of-Avril-style hoodies which is also my style, and Nina gave me a nice orange top that I really like. They're so kind!! Luv 'em all!! Muach! Muach!! And I owe them so much! :) But of course, I'd also like to thank the others who've remembered my birthday (oh yeah, it's Grace's bday too!!)

Hmm.. as for my bday gift from my parents, I told them that I wanna straighten my hair permanently. But my mom got mad 'n totally disagreed with that idea, cos it's expensive (NZ$178) 'n she said it's not worth it. [Well, I used to think it's not worth it too, but now I really want it more than anything else in the world :'( ] And she thought that in Indo it only costs Rp.60,000 and I was like "enak aja 60,000! Orang harganya jg ratusan kok, bahkan ada yg ampe 1 juta!" But still, they disagreed if I straighten my hair :( Oh, but my dad's not mad about it, he's just neutral, even tho a bit on the negative side (probably that's only cos it's expensive). As for my bro, hmm.. dia mah oke2 aja^^ Oh well.. when we reached home, I got really sad cos I thought they were gonna fulfill my wish. But I guess I'll get a pair of shoes, and boots, and I still want that black jacket from Billabong!! Aaarrgghhh!! I hate them! Gggrrrr!!! I've made up my mind, if I go back to Indo, I'll definitely get my hair straightened!! (with my own money)!! Or if I stay in NZ when my parents go back, I'll still get my hair straightened!! (with my own money too, hehe, but that's if I get a part-time job or somethine). Well, I guess I should say that I'm blessed with my hair like this now, but the thing is, I want it poker-straight! Just for once in my lifetime!! That's all! Is there anything wrong with that???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if it doesn't suit me, then that's okay cos at least I've experienced having a totally straight hair!!

DAMN!!

Oh yeah, after I got home, I was planning to continue my Info101 assignment, but I got distracted and went to Friendster instead n updated my profile n wrote a testimonial for Koko n finally now i'm writing in this blog :)

Hmmm.. recently I've been looking at people's blogs, and I was thinking that I wanna make one too! Anyway, it's Thursday the 29th now, and I'm so looking 4ward to 2moro, parce que..:
- I only have 1 lecture tomorrow, which is only from 2.10 to 3pm
- There's a dance 'n band 'n drama practice in KBRI after that
- Time to gather around with ma' Indo friendz
- And.. by tomorrow midnight I'm gonna turn 18!! ^^ (31 July)
Gosh!! Can't wait till 2moro!!!! I wonder who's gonna be the 1st to say happy birthday to me at midnight. Hmmm... :) will it be... you-know-who? Heheee..

Oh yeaaa.. can't wait to tell my parents what I really want 4 my 18th birthday!! I used to want the white jacket from Esprit or the black leather coat from Billabong, but now I totally changed my mind. Now I wanna straighten my hair permanently (just like what Lily n Jin-Sun did, but Lily got hers done in China). I rang the place where Jin-Sun got her hair straightened, but the lady who picked up the phone didn't speak English really well. She couldn't really understand what I said. Once I asked her "how long is the straightened effect going to last?" and she said "4 hours". And I said "4 hours??" 'n she said "yes, yes, 4 or 5 hours, it's long". And I knew that she must have thought I asked her "how long is the straightening process gonna take?" Well, that was one thing that made her gak nyambung with what I asked. And another example, I asked her "what time does your salon close?" and she answered "yes". I asked her again n she said "yes, yes"!! I got fed up, so I asked her again, SLOWLY, and finally she knew what I was talkin' about.

Uuurrggghh.. oh well, gotta do this weekly INFO101 assignment thing. Gotta summarise chapter 3 and do 3 extra questions ('n some people said that they got nothing to do with the chapter!! hell!!)

Well, once again, CAN'T WAIT TILL TOMORROW!! (And particularly SATURDAY THE 31ST OF JULY!!!!!) *_^
